Location: Virtual US; fully home-based, with occasional attendance at Intel sites based on business need. Candidates must live and work in the United States.

What you will do

• Lead and shape the manageability standards engagement strategy for the data center business.
• Act as the primary technical liaison to industry standards bodies.
• Guide the adoption and definition of next-generation compute and storage infrastructure standards.
• Synthesize ecosystem trends and align internal engineering efforts with industry developments.
• Translate internal product requirements and roadmaps into standards-based manageability strategies, specifications, and implementations.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to advance standards and product roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 12+ years of experience in system software architecture; or a relevant master’s degree with 8+ years; or a PhD with 6+ years.
• Expertise in system software architecture, including firmware, frameworks, drivers, and protocols.
• Experience participating in industry standards communities, preferably in leadership roles.
• Knowledge of customer, market, and ecosystem requirements, with experience engaging industry stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts and build consensus across diverse teams.
• Must live and work in the United States; remote work from other countries is not permitted.
