Software Architect (eCommerce)

Location: US - Remote

Annual compensation: $150,000–$200,000, including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end architecture and technical roadmap for a complex eCommerce platform.
• Design and modernize shopping cart, payment, catalog, order management, search, and personalization capabilities.
• Define engineering standards, design patterns, coding practices, and architectural documentation.
• Guide cloud adoption, CI/CD, observability, DevOps processes, and platform reliability across Azure and AWS.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security, DevOps, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical strategy.
• Mentor engineers and architects through design reviews, code reviews, technical discussions, and software development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development and 5+ years with DevOps methodologies.
• 5+ years of experience with C#, React, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with web application security, API design and integration, databases, SDLC, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
