Salary: $203,200–$286,870 USD

What you will do

• Define adapter card architecture including form factor, I/O topology, and feature partitioning between SoC and board.
• Own board-level architecture including PCIe connectivity, clocking, and secure boot strategies.
• Establish thermal and power envelopes, coordinating with mechanical and thermal engineering teams.
• Define platform manageability architecture, including sideband interfaces and telemetry exposure.
• Lead cross-functional architecture reviews with silicon, firmware, software, and validation teams.
• Drive platform-level requirements and architecture closure to ensure alignment with OEM/ODM deployment needs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in NIC/adapter platform architecture, server platform architecture, or high-speed I/O design.
• Proven ability to balance electrical, thermal, mechanical, and manufacturability constraints in hardware design.
• Strong understanding of platform manageability concepts and sideband integration in OEM environments.
• Experience defining and closing thermal/power envelopes for add-in cards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the US and able to pass an extended background investigation.

• Expertise in hyperscale/OEM deployment constraints and fleet operations.
• Deep knowledge of high-speed I/O and Ethernet NIC platforms.
• Experience leading platform readiness across multiple SKUs or OEM variants.
