Service Technician (Journeyman) (HVAC)

Location: Anchorage, Alaska, United States; customer-site service work with collaboration at the office when not interacting with customers.

Hourly base pay: $52.00 per hour

What you will do

• Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers on on-site installations and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair equipment and systems using software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as business needs require.
• Enforce safety standards and track the condition and use of company assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with an acceptable driving record.
• EPA Certification.
