Operations Manager - Floor (Grocery)

Location: Onsite at 5100 S Brookhart Dr, Harrisonville, Missouri, United States

Salary: $84,000–$126,000 annual salary, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone or stock compensation.

What you will do

• Drive and implement the business plan for the assigned grocery facility area to achieve production, quality, and safety goals.
• Forecast staffing needs, workload, and performance results to meet operational demand.
• Prepare, review, and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements.
• Monitor compliance with logistics and company quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using independent judgment and appropriate consultation.
• Supervise, coach, evaluate, hire, and develop associates, leaders, and managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as management, logistics, business administration, finance, or operations management, plus one year of relevant operations, distribution, logistics, or retail experience; alternatively, three years of relevant experience may qualify.
• Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers or supervisors across multiple departments or areas.
• Experience managing workload and participating in employee hiring and promotion decisions.
• Alternatively, one year of experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager with comparable responsibilities.
• Regular onsite work is required at the Harrisonville, Missouri grocery facility.

Nice to have

• Financial modeling and analysis, workforce issue management, modeling and forecasting, budgeting, or P&L accountability.
• Walmart Logistics Manager experience.
• Business, finance, logistics, management, or operations management bachelor's degree.
