Market Support Manager (Logistics)

Location: Detroit, MI; on-site nearly 100% of five work days per week, with extensive travel across a designated U.S. regional territory and extended stays at varying sites.

Salary: $81,600–$120,000 USD per year, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Lead teams of Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, and hourly associates during site launches, leadership transitions, and complex operational changes.
• Stabilize site operations by implementing standard operating procedures, troubleshooting issues, and bringing teams to performance benchmarks.
• Oversee daily fulfillment center operations, including safety, efficiency, P&L performance, and corrective action plans.
• Partner with regional and central teams on growth initiatives, training programs, special projects, and market expansion.
• Use data and operational insights to improve workflows, team structures, and fulfillment practices.

Requirements

• Ability to travel extensively and remain on-site at different locations for extended periods.
• At least 3 years of experience in leadership, operations, consulting, logistics, strategy, or a related field.
• Experience managing diverse hourly and salaried teams of 15 or more employees in fast-paced environments.
• Strong site operations, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using Excel or similar tools to support operational decisions.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous and dynamic environments.

Nice to have

• Experience launching business units or scaling operations from zero to one.
• Warehousing, logistics, or fulfillment center experience.
• Change management and team-building experience across diverse environments.
