Technical Program Manager (Network Migrations)

Location: Remote, Oklahoma; must be US-based. Travel up to 15% is required, with flexibility to support migration windows across time zones and off-hours maintenance periods.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end execution of a large migration portfolio across data center, backbone, and edge network domains.
• Manage migration lifecycles from scoping and dependency mapping through hardware readiness, cutover, validation, decommissioning, and close-out.
• Design zero-downtime cutover plans with go/no-go criteria, rollback triggers, validation checkpoints, and risk-ordered execution waves.
• Coordinate Network Engineering, Network Operations, Construction, Overlay Services, hardware supply teams, and external vendors.
• Report portfolio health, schedule confidence, material readiness, risks, and leadership decisions across hundreds of concurrent activities.
• Improve migration playbooks through automation, scalable reporting, retrospectives, and standardized migration patterns.

Requirements

• 10+ years of program management experience in network infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, data center, or hyperscale environments.
• Direct experience delivering network migrations, platform replacements, or large-scale infrastructure modernization on live production systems.
• Expertise in cutover planning, dependency mapping, rollback readiness, validation gates, risk management, and portfolio tracking.
• Foundational understanding of data center and backbone network architecture, including platform swaps, hardware forklifts, link upgrades, optical conversions, and traffic rerouting.
• Strong executive communication and cross-functional influence across engineering, operations, vendors, construction, and supply teams.
• Must be US-based; able to travel up to 15% and support off-hours migration windows across time zones.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification.
• Network certifications.
• Experience in hyperscale, carrier, or large enterprise environments with high-availability requirements.
