Program Manager (Federal Healthcare)

Location: 100% remote within the continental US; travel to the Washington, DC metropolitan area is required as needed for onsite meetings, program activities, and customer requirements.

What you will do

• Lead the Program Management Office across multiple projects and programs.
• Oversee cost, schedule, technical performance, staffing, quality, risks, deliverables, and contractual compliance.
• Manage integrated program schedules, milestones, resource allocations, staffing plans, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Act as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, subcontractors, and teaming partners.
• Lead program reviews and provide reporting on financial performance, technical progress, risks, issues, corrective actions, and contract status.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, quality, onboarding, training, and reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Must reside within the continental US.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 15 years of program or project management experience supporting contracts of comparable size and complexity.
• At least 10 years of experience with enterprise IT development programs or comparable PMO initiatives.
• Experience managing multi-task contracts, subcontracts, diverse contract types, and multi-vendor federal delivery environments.
• PMP certification, with expertise in requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, risk management, schedule management, and financial reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting U.S. Census Bureau IT systems, decennial census operations, or census data modernization initiatives.
• Experience leading Agile, DevSecOps, and cloud-native programs.
• Experience managing large federal IT programs involving enterprise data platforms, analytics, cybersecurity, and mission-critical modernization.
