Float Medical Assistant

Location: CO-Pueblo; travel to other locations within the state and/or region is required.

Pay range: $23.00–$28.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Escort patients, clean and stock exam rooms, and support a positive patient experience.
• Review medical information, gather updated health data, and record accurate documentation.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with clinical procedures.
• Handle front-desk activities including scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, and specialist coordination.
• Process test results, communicate results as directed, and participate in patient outreach.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies while collaborating with different care teams to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred; certification or registration is required where mandated by the state.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Flexible scheduling and travel to multiple locations within the state and/or region are required.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
