SAP S/4HANA Domain Architect

Location: US-DE-Wilmington; hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

Salary: $150,000–$234,375 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and maintain future-state enterprise architecture aligned with SAP S/4HANA business capabilities and ERP roadmaps.
• Lead architecture decisions for Finance processes or Supply Chain capabilities.
• Establish boundary application strategies covering system replacement, retention, and integration.
• Define clean core guardrails, SAP extensibility patterns, and exception governance.
• Guide custom code rationalization, remediation, and redesign to reduce technical debt.
• Align SAP and non-SAP integrations and prepare executive-ready architecture recommendations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in SAP architecture or solution architecture.
• Significant hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Deep functional and architectural expertise in Finance or Supply Chain processes.
• Experience defining enterprise architecture, integration strategies, and target-state designs in complex environments.
• Ability to communicate architecture concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite in Wilmington, Delaware three days per week.

Nice to have

• Consulting or systems integration experience and exposure to greenfield, brownfield, or selective-transition SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Experience with clean core governance, extensibility frameworks, and custom code reduction.
• Familiarity with LeanIX, capability mapping, or dependency visualization tools.
• Experience with SAP modernization assessments, readiness planning, simplification items, or custom code impact analysis.
