SAP Business AI Lead Architect (SAP)

Location: Remote work opportunities in the United States; willingness to travel as needed is required.

Salary: $160,377–$229,337 annual base compensation

What you will do

• Design end-to-end AI solutions integrating SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and external data and AI platforms.
• Lead hands-on development and deployment of AI/ML and generative AI applications.
• Define secure, scalable integration patterns, reusable frameworks, accelerators, and industry-specific AI assets.
• Translate client requirements into AI-enabled solutions for finance, supply chain, procurement, and operations.
• Advise client stakeholders on AI strategy and execution while driving adoption of emerging technologies.
• Mentor developers and architects and support delivery capabilities across multiple engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of SAP experience, including S/4HANA implementations and extensions.
• Strong expertise in SAP Business AI, SAP Joule, embedded AI, and enterprise AI/ML or generative AI solutions.
• Knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, AI orchestration frameworks, APIs, integrations, and enterprise architecture.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, AWS AI/ML, Google AI, or similar non-SAP platforms, plus proficiency in Python, JavaScript, ABAP, or similar languages.
• SAP certifications, employee management experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and data engineering pipelines.
• Consulting or client-facing experience.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
