CoE NPI Supply Chain Program Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Full-time onsite role with approximately 20% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $133,500–$183,500 per year.

What you will do

• Own commodity strategies, supplier landscapes, multi-year sourcing roadmaps, supplier selection, qualification, and contracting.
• Lead cost performance initiatives, should-costing, Cost Apportionment Models, Best BoM scenarios, and cost reduction roadmaps.
• Drive supply-chain resiliency through dual sourcing, risk mitigation, lab qualification, and cut-in management.
• Manage end-to-end NPI and program execution, including schedules, dependencies, milestones, RAID logs, governance, and stakeholder reporting.
• Coordinate NPI-to-HVM ramp readiness, capacity planning, supplier scorecards, QBRs, corrective actions, and shortage or obsolescence management.
• Align engineering, sourcing, operations, finance, quality, and legal teams while tracking KPIs, savings, and benefits realization.

Requirements

• BA or BS in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; MS or MBA preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience in strategic sourcing, program management, consulting, and/or supply chain, preferably in semiconductors.
• Experience with supplier qualification, RFx processes, commercial and technical evaluation, negotiation, and total cost optimization.
• Knowledge of semiconductor supply chains, NPI-to-HVM ramps, capacity planning, lead times, allocation, lifecycle management, MRP, inventory, and material flow.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, Power Query, and Power Pivot, plus strong PowerPoint communication and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, lead cross-functional programs, influence without authority, and apply structured problem-solving methods such as 5 Whys and Fishbone.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCBA, contract manufacturers or EMS, BoM management, component sourcing, and HVM ramp.
• Experience with polymers and plastics precision machining, precision metal machining, sheet metal, lasers and sensors, or solid-state batteries.
• Lean, Kaizen, standard work, and process optimization experience.
