TL;DR
Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Procurement Manager – Level 3, ANS (Data Center) (Strategic Procurement): Developing and executing global procurement and category strategies for electrical, mechanical, modular infrastructure, and long-lead equipment with an accent on strategic sourcing, supplier capacity, commercial negotiations, and delivery reliability. Focus on securing critical supply, mitigating supply-chain risks, optimizing costs, and managing complex supplier performance issues across infrastructure programs.

Location: Nationwide, United States; hybrid work with a mix of remote work, onsite client visits, and time in an Accenture office or center.

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute global procurement and category strategies for electrical, mechanical, modular infrastructure, and long-lead equipment.
  • Lead strategic sourcing, RFPs, competitive bidding, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships, including capacity, quality, cost competitiveness, and on-time delivery.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, manufacturing capacity, proposals, quality performance, and delivery reliability.
  • Partner with Engineering, Construction, Planning, Quality, and Operations teams to support program execution.
  • Identify supply-chain risks, lead escalations and corrective actions, and drive cost optimization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain, construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure.
  • 5–8+ years leading strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier selection activities.
  • 5–10 years of experience with commercial negotiations, contracting, pricing agreements, and supplier terms.
  • Experience managing strategic suppliers, capacity planning, supplier performance, and supply-chain risk.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, stakeholder-management, and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience procuring or managing long-lead equipment and complex technical sourcing programs.
  • Experience with master agreements, long-term agreements, and supplier allocation models.
  • Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, modular construction, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing global supplier networks.
