DTC Associate Producer (MS NOW Content Strategy)

Location: New York, NY; onsite. Must be willing to work weekends, non-traditional hours, and respond to breaking news outside regular working hours. Unrestricted work authorization in the United States is required.

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 yearly

What you will do

• Develop and edit direct-to-consumer exclusive content with coordinating producers, producers, and production assistants.
• Collaborate with news talent on creative content for the MS NOW DTC platform.
• Assist with guest booking and production and operations management for remote shoots.
• Research content ideas and DTC productions.
• Curate featured video content in the MS NOW DTC app.
• Quality-check video, graphics, scripts, and copy for accuracy and editorial standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience producing news, breaking news, or political content for digital or social platforms.
• Strong news judgment, writing, research, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Solid video editing experience and the ability to deliver content quickly.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere, Pro Tools, and YouTube Studio; knowledge of VMix and Riverside.
• Deep knowledge of and passion for news and politics, plus experience in digital, social media, streaming, or livestreaming content strategy.
• Willingness to work in New York, work weekends, and maintain unrestricted US work authorization.
