What you will do

• Produce and edit videos for hirify.global’s social media channels and app.
• Verticalize longform video features and create teasers and trailers for exclusive interviews.
• Edit video interviews and social concepts, turning raw footage into engaging shortform stories.
• Collaborate with reporters, editors, content creators, designers, motion graphics designers, and the Video team.
• Attend live events on behalf of the brand and capture content through video production and shooting.
• Balance multiple projects according to business priorities and the news cycle while meeting tight deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience; experience at a national news brand is preferred.
• BA or BS degree and/or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in video editing with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and AVID.
• Expertise in TikTok and Reels, with an understanding of social media and Gen Z audiences.
• Experience with camera operation, lighting, and basic audio setup for interviews and on-location shoots.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to edit thoroughly under tight deadlines.
