Capture Manager (Defence)

What you will do

• Own qualified opportunities through the capture and proposal phases of the Growth Lifecycle.
• Develop win strategies, competitive intelligence portfolios, teaming strategies, and customer assessments.
• Lead cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, solution architects, engineers, commercial and finance staff, and business development professionals.
• Partner with Proposal Management to develop compelling, compliant proposals and manage bid processes.
• Build relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage risks, policies, budgets, and the integrity of the capture process.

Requirements

• Proven capture or bid management experience in the Australian Defence industry.
• Experience developing and executing capture strategies and managing complex projects and budgets.
• Strong Defence and Australian Government acquisition process knowledge, including scope, cost, and schedule considerations.
• Leadership, team management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with proposal writing and development, pipeline building, and business growth.
• Australian citizenship and a minimum NV1 Australian Government security clearance held currently or previously; eligibility to hold AGSVA clearance is required.

• Experience with complex captures involving space or prime systems integration.
