Project Officer

Location: Adelaide, Australia. Hybrid work from home and office, as well as a 9-day fortnight, may be considered.

What you will do

• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day project tasks and administrative functions.
• Manage performance analysis activities while monitoring scope, cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Track and report key performance metrics, trends, issues, and delays.
• Analyse operational performance using Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Work with functional leaders to identify performance influences, gaps, and corrective actions.
• Gather lessons learned and contribute to process, tool, and project performance improvements.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of administrative experience in a project environment.
• Project experience in the defence industry is preferred.
• Strong planning, analytical, and communication skills.
• Excellent administrative skills and a general understanding of project life cycles, documentation, standards, and methodologies.
• Australian citizenship is required.
• Australian Defence Security Clearance at NV1 level must be held or obtainable.

Nice to have

• Diploma or certificate in Project Management.
