Project Manager

What you will do

• Manage the planning and execution of projects and bids, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Act as the primary point of contact for senior management, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources, sub-contractors, and cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Procurement.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures to prevent overruns.
• Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and financial forecasts for project bids.
• Coordinate equipment testing, delivery, installation, and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• HND or degree level in Project Management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in a Project Management environment.
• Experience in an engineering development environment.
• Knowledge of military or naval contracts and processes.
• Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites in the UK or overseas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.

• APM qualification.
