Project Manager

Location: Hybrid – Melbourne, Australia

hirify.global develops and delivers engineering and manufactured products through customer projects, internal research and development, and capital equipment programs.

What you will do

• Manage multiple customer-driven engineering, internal R&D, and capital equipment projects.
• Plan projects, track costs, manage delivery schedules, and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate communication among suppliers, customers, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and report project KPIs, including estimates at completion, budget burndown, and on-time delivery.
• Support product design, technical proposals, cost estimates, customer relationships, and after-sales activities.
• Coordinate contractual reviews and negotiations while improving project management and engineering processes.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
• Tertiary qualification in Project Management or Business Management, or PMP/PMBOK certification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, motivation, and work ethic.
• Must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain the required Australian security clearance.

Nice to have

• Defence industry experience.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or JIRA.
