Project Engineer (Aerospace)

Salary: $90,000–$125,000 annually

What you will do

• Support production programs for hydraulic and electromechanical actuators throughout the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to product requirements by consulting with customers and sales personnel.
• Validate conceptual solutions through trade studies and engineering analyses.
• Prepare proposal designs, cost estimates, and technical volume write-ups.
• Develop reliable designs through experimental development testing.
• Document designs, analyses, and test results in accurate technical reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM discipline such as engineering, mathematics, science, or technology.
• At least 5 years of professional design and development engineering experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Chatsworth, California.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience designing, analyzing, and developing complex electrohydraulic or electromechanical actuators.
• Experience with EVMS fundamentals, project planning, scheduling, resource loading, and MS Project.
• A mechanical or aerospace engineering degree.
• Experience designing, analyzing, and developing complex systems.
• Testing experience with electrically or hydraulically driven systems.
