Focus on collecting program data, developing support services for demographic groups and geographic locations, and coordinating with military commands and community resource providers.
Location: Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States. Relocation is offered for this position.
Basic compensation: $57,972–$64,235 annually for the Little Creek, Virginia area.

What you will do
- Coordinate, develop, and evaluate programs and services that support the resilience of service members and their families.
- Establish, maintain, and report on peer counseling networks for service members and spouses.
- Recruit, vet, and support the training of peer support counselors according to USSOCOM standards.
- Collect and analyze primary and secondary data for program assessments and outcome evaluations.
- Develop needs-based programming for specific demographic groups and geographic locations.
- Coordinate family orientation, deployment preparation and reintegration, career transition, relational enhancement, behavioral health, suicide prevention, and cognitive agility activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education, human or social services, or a related field, or four years of relevant social service education, work/family life consultation, or coordination experience.
- At least two years of experience coordinating social service education programs.
- Knowledge of peer support counseling, suicide prevention, community resources, referrals, and DoD-sponsored services.
- US citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
- Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required.
- Ability to remain current on best practices and developments in peer support counseling, suicide prevention, and military family resources.
