Middle School Alliance Site Coordinator (youth education and program operations): Coordinating daily out-of-school-time programming at assigned middle school sites with an accent on logistics, family engagement, attendance tracking, and stakeholder communication. Focus on maintaining safe and consistent program implementation, solving routine site challenges, and using participation data to support continuous improvement.
Location: Richmond, VA, USA; primarily in-person at assigned middle school sites. Programming hours are 11 a.m.–7 p.m.; biweekly staff meetings take place at the IRC office.
Pay rate: $28.94–$29.90 per hour.

What you will do
- Coordinate daily operations, schedules, room assignments, meals, transportation, dismissal procedures, and site transitions for out-of-school-time programming.
- Coordinate communication among school staff, program providers, transportation, security, volunteers, families, and MSA leadership.
- Support student recruitment, enrollment, family engagement, and inclusive participation.
- Track registration, attendance, participation trends, Average Daily Attendance, surveys, assessments, and other evaluation data.
- Support program quality standards, youth-centered learning environments, safety procedures, incident reporting, and emergency response coordination.
- Maintain operational records, inventories, supplies, timelines, reports, and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education, youth development, nonprofit management, public administration, social work, or a related field is preferred.
- 2–3 years of related experience in youth development, education, afterschool programming, or community-based programming.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Spanish is required.
- Experience with middle school youth, school communities, or after-school programming is strongly preferred.
- Strong organization, time management, communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
- Experience with attendance tracking, data systems, reporting, Microsoft Office Suite, or database management is preferred.
