Senior Frontend Software Engineer - Application Development (React)

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid workplace

Salary: $135,000–$200,000 per year, excluding potential bonuses, benefits, and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Architect and develop frontend interfaces, state management, and access patterns for data-intensive workflows in Foundry.
• Build interactive workflow UIs, low-code/no-code WYSIWYG tools, and pro-code tools for application developers.
• Lead and mentor engineers while building shared frontend tooling used across Foundry teams.
• Design and develop high-scale data-intensive APIs, schemas, and reusable frontend primitives.
• Collaborate with users, product designers, backend engineers, forward-deployed engineers, and deployment strategists to evolve products.
• Optionally participate in Frontline assignments embedded with customers to deliver end-to-end solutions for complex operational problems.

Requirements

• 4+ years of frontend software engineering experience.
• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills and understanding of web technologies.
• Experience crafting complex user experiences with strong design and usability judgment.
• Experience with design systems such as Blueprint, Material-UI, or similar.
• Familiarity with data structures, loading patterns, frontend frameworks, and related technical concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
• Experience working in a fast-paced CI/CD development environment.
• Experience collaborating closely with product designers and iterating directly with users.
