What you will do

• Design and build foundational frontend systems, components, and patterns used by engineers across the organization.
• Lead large-scale projects end-to-end, from technical design and implementation to rollout and operational maintenance.
• Improve developer experience by enhancing abstractions, tooling, and documentation within a large TypeScript and React codebase.
• Develop polished, accessible, and performant customer-facing product experiences.
• Partner with product engineers, designers, and infrastructure teams to solve complex cross-cutting frontend challenges.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of technical impact.
• Highly skilled in modern frontend development, specifically TypeScript and React.
• Experience building reusable frontend systems, components, or infrastructure.
• Strong focus on user experience, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
• Comfortable working in a large, complex frontend codebase with multiple stakeholders.
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience building design systems or component libraries.
• Proficiency with frontend testing frameworks like Cypress or Jest.
• Experience with code generation, linting, codemods, or developer tooling.
• Knowledge of internationalization, localization, or accessibility standards.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
