Salary: $128,842–$209,368/year (OTE: $144,000–$234,000/year)

What you will do

• Design and build foundational frontend systems, components, and tools used by engineers across the organization.
• Lead large-scale projects end-to-end, from technical design and implementation to rollout and operational support.
• Improve developer experience by creating better abstractions, documentation, and scaffolding for the TypeScript and React codebase.
• Develop polished, accessible, and performant customer-facing product experiences.
• Partner with product engineers, designers, and infrastructure teams to solve complex cross-cutting frontend challenges.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of technical impact.
• Highly skilled in modern frontend development, specifically TypeScript and React.
• Experience building reusable frontend systems, components, or infrastructure.
• Deep commitment to user experience, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
• Comfortable working in a large, complex frontend codebase with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to raise the technical bar for the team.

Nice to have

• Experience building design systems or component libraries.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks like Cypress or Jest.
• Experience with code generation, linting, or developer tooling.
• Experience with internationalization, localization, or accessibility standards.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
