Principal Product Manager (AI Agents & MCP)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States

Salary: $265,000–$398,000 total target cash annually for the San Francisco Bay Area of California, inclusive of bonus or commission.

What you will do

• Define the 12–24-month strategy, vision, and investment priorities for AI agent and MCP surfaces.
• Lead the development of products that help customers analyze data, make decisions, and improve their products.
• Advance MCP capabilities for use through coding agents, command-line interfaces, and integrated development environments.
• Create evaluation methods, quality standards, and feedback mechanisms for measuring customer value and agent experience improvements.
• Conduct regular customer discovery to identify workflows, opportunities, and use cases for AI agents.
• Partner with engineering, design, and field teams to deliver, position, demonstrate, and support AI Agent products.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, including taking 0-to-1 products from concept through delivery.
• 3+ years building products with AI/ML technologies and recent hands-on experience delivering agentic products.
• Fluency in current LLM trends, models, and tools, including context management, latency, evaluation methods, and common failure modes.
• Experience building systems that measure whether probabilistic products improve over time.
• Demonstrated ability to execute complex initiatives with engineering and design partners.
• Ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity, rapid change, and evolving technology.
