Supplier Lead (Aerospace)

Location: Must be based in Torrance, CA (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office).

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 annually.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with assigned suppliers to meet operational requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage purchase orders to ensure accurate delivery information and system data.
• Lead problem-solving activities to resolve supply chain performance issues.
• Support supplier selection, development, and new product introduction (NPI) processes.
• Conduct regular business travel (10%) to visit suppliers within the designated region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or business.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or engineering, preferably in aerospace.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex regulations.
• Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple functions, cultures, and time zones.
• Must be able to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business or engineering.
• Certification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Program Management.
• Technical or engineering background.
• Experience with procurement and contractual law.
