Senior Global Supply Manager II - Space

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States

Base pay: $110,000–$160,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with program cost, quality, and delivery goals.
• Build supplier relationships from initial requests for information through contract execution and ongoing partnership.
• Lead supplier negotiations and establish contractual frameworks with Legal and Contracts.
• Drive supplier performance improvement through metrics, scorecards, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support prototyping and serial production.
• Identify supply chain risks, cost-saving opportunities, market trends, and strategies that improve resilience and competitiveness.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supplier management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 12+ years of total work experience may substitute for the degree.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements.
• Experience with sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations, cost models, and should-cost analysis.
• Ability to act as a procurement expert in a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other disruptive manufacturing industries.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and understand design for manufacturing.
• APICS certification.
• Experience with AS9100 and export controls.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
