Senior Quantity Surveyor (Pre-Contract)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the Glasgow City Centre office. UK residency and nationality restrictions apply due to the secure nature of the project.

What you will do

• Lead pre-contract commercial activities for major infrastructure procurement projects.
• Develop procurement strategies, contract management plans, and ITT processes.
• Manage tender processes end to end, including documentation, bid evaluation, and supplier negotiations.
• Prepare commercial inputs to NEC4-based project scopes and assess pricing mechanisms and risk allocation.
• Provide input into commercial strategy, risk management, and value engineering during early project stages.
• Engage with bid, design, delivery, and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven pre-contract and tendering experience within major infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience procuring infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC4 contracts, including ECC and PSC.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• SC Clearance and compliance with applicable UK residency and nationality restrictions are required.

• MRICS qualification.
• MCIPS qualification.
