What you will do

• Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure tender returns are commercially sound and technically detailed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers to support future tender success.
• Prepare and present detailed tender cost build-ups within strict deadlines.
• Support the transition from tender phase to project handover with delivery teams.
• Monitor market trends, material costs, and labor rates to maintain accurate pricing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in Social Housing.
• Knowledge of JCT and ACA suite of contracts.
• Ability to perform take-offs from design drawings and prepare Bills of Quantities.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proficiency in specialized estimating software.
