What you will do
- Lead day-to-day commercial management and financial control of the PUMA K30 Tie-In works.
- Measure and value completed works under the NEC4 Option B contract, maintaining auditable records supported by drawings, surveys, calculations, and site evidence.
- Prepare payment applications, reconcile certified amounts and cash received, and manage outstanding client value and working-capital exposure.
- Maintain cost-to-complete, estimate-at-completion, risk, opportunity, and forecast-margin reporting based on actual, committed, and forecast costs.
- Manage compensation events, scope changes, subcontractor accounts, variations, liabilities, accruals, and final accounts.
- Lead and develop Quantity Surveyors and other commercial resources while coordinating with Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Planning, Procurement, and Change Management.
Requirements
- Significant Quantity Surveying or commercial management experience on major engineering, construction, energy, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong practical experience with NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts, preferably including Option B and compensation events.
- Demonstrable experience in measurement, valuation, cost control, forecasting, financial reporting, and subcontractor account management through final account.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, scope documents, bills of quantities, price lists, and commercial schedules.
- Experience with contract-management systems such as Sypro and project financial systems.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline; RICS membership or progress toward professional qualification is desirable.
