Managing Director (Insurance)

Salary: $250,000–$300,000 annual

What you will do

• Lead the design, negotiation, and placement of sophisticated casualty insurance programs for private equity sponsors and portfolio companies.
• Advise clients on M&A transactions, due diligence, risk assessments, and program optimization throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Build carrier and market relationships to deliver innovative risk transfer and alternative risk financing solutions.
• Drive revenue growth through client retention, cross-selling, and new business development.
• Oversee a significant book of business and ensure high-quality client service and execution.
• Lead, mentor, and develop brokers and client service professionals while executing practice growth strategies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of insurance brokerage experience with expertise in casualty programs, private equity, M&A, or complex commercial risk.
• Active Property & Casualty License.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience leading teams, managing client relationships, and delivering results in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
• Technical expertise in loss-sensitive programs, alternative risk transfer solutions, captives, and complex policy structures.
