Technician, Pilot Plant IV (Second Shift)

What you will do

• Set up, clean, maintain, and operate pilot plant equipment under supervision.
• Prepare equipment and materials for manufacturing processes according to supervisory instructions.
• Monitor product and process quality and report issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete batch records, supporting documentation, and process handoffs in accordance with cGMP policies.
• Review procedures and batch records, identify safety issues, and suggest process improvements.
• Use the inventory system and provide accurate material and equipment status reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Basic technical or mechanical background and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written operating instructions and equipment or computer displays.
• Ability to document process deviations or mistakes in writing.
• Intermediate ability in basic algebra, decimals, fractions, proportions, and arithmetic.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and work safely with tools, machines, instruments, and safety devices.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a scientific field.
• Knowledge of tools, machines, instruments, and safety devices used in chemical or pharmaceutical operations.
