Production Technician (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Irvine, California, United States. Work schedule: Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM.

Salary: $22.95–$25.95 per hour, plus a 7.5% shift premium for applicable hours worked.

What you will do

• Operate manufacturing machinery and production equipment according to procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Perform production activities to meet schedules, volume targets, quality standards, and efficiency goals.
• Monitor product quality, identify and report non-conforming materials, and maintain accurate production records.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and product rejects.
• Support equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, routine maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate production issues and process improvement opportunities to supervisors and team members, and support less experienced colleagues when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing, production, assembly, or related industrial experience.
• Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work the designated night shift and overtime as business needs require.

Nice to have

• Experience operating manufacturing or automated production equipment.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing, such as medical device or pharmaceutical production.
• Familiarity with GMP, quality, or safety procedures.
