Senior Supervisor Hydroelectric Operations and Maintenance

Location: On-site at the Big Creek facility in Auberry, California, United States. The role requires up to 40% travel and field work throughout the service territory. Relocation may apply.

Salary: $163,000–$244,400 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee daily hydroelectric fleet maintenance activities and matrixed operational responsibilities.
• Plan, schedule, and execute routine, preventive, and overhaul maintenance, including outage work and return to service.
• Promote effective use of asset management systems, training, and operational data capture.
• Partner with reliability engineering, market operations, and other groups to analyze performance and optimize assets.
• Lead reliability-centered maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as incident commander during emergencies and adjust operations to meet production and financial targets.

Requirements

• Four or more years of experience performing or supervising in a power generation operations environment.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Recent direct experience in daily power plant operations or maintenance is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plant systems, operational processes, safety regulations, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
• Ability to lead and motivate a large, diverse team and communicate complex information clearly.
• Must work on-site and complete the required NERC/CIP personnel risk assessment, background investigation, and training before receiving unescorted access.

Nice to have

• Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, including pivot tables, macros, and data visualization.
• Experience managing multiple priorities effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
