Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Rancho Dominguez, California, United States; onsite at a manufacturing plant. Shift: 4:00 AM–12:30 PM, Monday–Friday; Saturdays are commonly required.

Salary: $30.70–$39.10 per hour, based on experience, skills, and location. Overtime, quarterly incentives, referral bonuses, and other compensation may be available.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and controls equipment.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and repair steam, refrigeration, and wastewater systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance work without interrupting production.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to maintain output and support plant projects.
• Fabricate components, tools, and equipment, and operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain CMMS work orders, completions, requisitions, and inventory, and use SAP for purchase requisitions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with sanitary systems and mechanical equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, and steam traps.
• Ability to work on electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, temperature controls, flow instruments, and related devices.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally, work at elevated heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to learn new and existing processing systems.
• Ability to work onsite in Rancho Dominguez, California, on the specified early-morning shift; Saturdays are commonly required.

Nice to have

• Blue or Black Seal Boiler License.
• Food manufacturing and GMP environment experience.
• Stainless steel and sanitary welding skills.
