Director, Supply Chain Operations

What you will do

• Own systems and formulary configuration, including SKU builds, medication routing, state-by-state coverage, and integration health.
• Manage the partner-pharmacy network, including relationships, capacity, pricing, sourcing, onboarding, and fulfillment coverage.
• Drive fulfillment service levels, turnaround SLAs, exception resolution, carrier issues, cold-chain handling, and returns.
• Partner daily with Product and Engineering to define requirements and build scalable tooling for order triage, status visibility, network management, and formulary configuration.
• Rebuild operational processes, documentation, automation, and launch readiness for new products, formulations, services, and regulatory changes.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across systems, formulary, network partnerships, fulfillment, and product rollout.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in operations, fulfillment, systems, or pharmacy operations, including 4+ years leading teams and managing managers or leads.
• Experience leading analytical or systems teams alongside operational or vendor-facing teams, including hiring and direct performance management.
• Proven success scaling high-volume operations or fulfillment during rapid growth and building repeatable processes and documentation.
• Experience owning configuration, routing, or order-flow systems, partnering with Product or Engineering on operational tooling, and working across order-routing, API, or integration environments.
• Vendor and network management experience, with strong cross-functional communication across technical, operational, clinical, and finance stakeholders.

Nice to have

• 503A compounding pharmacy, pharmacy, healthcare, or other regulated-industry experience, including 503B, PBM, mail-order prescription, or cGMP environments.
• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and order-routing or API integrations.
• Cold-chain or temperature-controlled fulfillment experience.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience and preparation of regulated operations for audits or inspections.
