Senior Manager, Supply Chain and Supplier Quality Operations (Pharma)

Location: Hybrid position within reasonable commuting distance of hirify.global sites in Houston, TX; Walkersville, MD; Portsmouth, NH; or Vacaville, CA. Up to 25% travel may be required. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

What you will do

• Own supplier quality strategy, performance metrics, and execution across assigned U.S. manufacturing sites and global supply networks.
• Ensure suppliers meet FDA, cGMP, cGDP, and other applicable regulatory expectations, including serving as the supplier-quality liaison during inspections.
• Lead rapid response, containment, escalation, deviation management, and vendor remediation for supply disruptions and material non-conformances.
• Drive cross-functional supply chain quality projects, task forces, and supplier performance improvement initiatives.
• Manage the U.S. relationship with the global Integrated Facility Management provider, including KPIs and quarterly performance reviews.
• Implement quality risk management, supplier audits, trend analytics, electronic supplier lifecycle systems, audit trackers, and risk registers.

Requirements

• Typically 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device quality operations.
• Proven expertise in supply chain quality, supplier qualification, vendor monitoring, supplier KPIs, and Tier 2 supplier performance meetings.
• Deep knowledge of cGMP/cGDP requirements, Quality Risk Management tools, and supplier quality systems defended during FDA or health authority inspections.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder-management, and conflict-resolution skills in a global matrix organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.

• Master’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
