Senior FP&A Analyst (Automotive)

What you will do

• Own the monthly close and variance analysis cycle, delivering commentary within seven business days of accounting close.
• Build driver-based financial models for the Annual Operating Plan, rolling forecasts, and three- to five-year strategic plans.
• Develop executive dashboards and KPI packages in Power BI and the new EPM platform, including SAP-to-reporting data pipelines.
• Partner with budget owners to gather, validate, and consolidate forecast inputs.
• Support Board materials, investor presentations, earnings-call preparation, and strategic analysis for the CFO, CEO, and Board.
• Contribute to cross-border reporting, EPM implementation, process automation, and AI/LLM workflow experimentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance.
• Advanced Excel and strong financial modeling skills across the P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet.
• Experience with monthly close, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, self-direction, and the ability to explain financial analysis to non-finance stakeholders.
• Business proficiency in English is required; Mandarin Chinese is beneficial for cross-border collaboration.

Nice to have

• Public-company or private-equity-backed company experience.
• MBA, CPA, or CMA.
• Experience with SAP, Power BI, Tableau, or modern EPM platforms such as Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Cube, Vena, or Pigment.
• SQL, Python, or PySpark for data manipulation.
• Automotive, robotics, technology, or AI/LLM applications in finance experience.
