Location: Anderson, South Carolina, United States. Remote-field work from home with a mobile office/vehicle for in-person appointments; candidates should reside within the listed local zip-code territory and may occasionally travel to other territories.
Salary: $63,089.65β$90,000 annually, plus potential incentive pay of up to 15% of base salary.

What you will do
- Conduct on-site inspections and assess damage for residential and commercial property claims.
- Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims with exposures up to $500,000.
- Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed claims reports.
- Evaluate coverage and policy terms, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and other involved parties to resolve claims.
- Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits while providing professional customer service.
Requirements
- Ability to investigate problems, evaluate information, and make well-supported decisions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and customer-service skills.
- Proficiency with mobile and desktop tools used to document claims in the field and remotely.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, navigate roofs at different heights, and crawl in tight spaces.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Successful completion of required training, licensing examinations, motor vehicle record checks, background checks, and possible pre-employment assessments.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent property claims experience.
- Strong knowledge of property insurance policies, coverage, and claims handling.
- Knowledge of residential and commercial building construction.
- Water mitigation inspection experience.
- Experience with Xactimate and XactContents.
