Claims Adjuster (Property Insurance)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must live and work full-time in one of the listed states. An active adjuster license in the current state of residence is required. The role may require mandatory overtime during catastrophe events.

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Manage first-party residential property claims from initial notice of loss through resolution.
• Interpret policies, forms, records, and applicable regulations to determine coverage and liability.
• Investigate property damage through recorded statements, documentation reviews, police consultations, and property inspections.
• Prepare, approve, and adjust estimates for repairs, replacement, and compensation.
• Communicate with customers throughout the claims process and maintain clear claim documentation.
• Coordinate with field appraisers and vendors to manage estimates, repairs, negotiations, and payments.

Requirements

• 2+ years of first-party residential property claims adjusting experience worhirify.globalg directly for an insurance carrier.
• Active, valid adjuster license in the current state of residence.
• Knowledge and experience handling California claims.
• Strong understanding of Florida insurance laws and good-faith claims handling.
• Experience handling daily and catastrophe claims in high-risk states.
• Experience with vendor management and negotiations, plus familiarity with claims systems such as Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Symbility, or EagleView.
