Senior Product Manager, Platform (Robotics)

Location: Hybrid, three days per week in the New York City office

Salary: $180,000–$240,000 per year

hirify.global is a New York-based robotics engineering platform that helps engineers configure, control, and manage robots through software tools.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap for a core area of the hirify.global platform from problem definition through launch, adoption, and deprecation.
• Shape product strategy by identifying developer adoption barriers, bottlenecks, and blockers.
• Work with engineering leads on platform architecture decisions involving the core platform, registry, and SDKs.
• Take new capabilities from 0 to 1 and support them through real customer deployments.
• Own developer experience across SDK ergonomics, API surface, documentation, and onboarding.
• Use customer research, adoption metrics, and feedback from Forward Deployed engineers to guide the roadmap.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a software engineer building and shipping production software used by real users.
• 8+ years of product management experience after the engineering background.
• Experience with developer-facing or infrastructure products such as APIs, SDKs, or platforms.
• Track record of taking products from ambiguity to production, including migrations, deprecations, and breaking changes.
• Technical credibility with engineers, including the ability to run an SDK, read code, and participate in design reviews.
• Experience with product strategy, market research, user engagement, success metrics, and senior leadership collaboration.

Nice to have

• Hands-on interest in hardware, IoT, embedded systems, or similar physical systems.
• Professional robotics experience is not required.
