Product Manager (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States. Candidates must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate; the role is hybrid with on-site work in the South Bay office a few days per week.

Salary: $230,000–$400,000 US base salary per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define product vision and strategy for consumer-scale AI applications.
• Prototype and ship production features with engineering, using code and AI coding tools.
• Translate complex AI capabilities and technical constraints into developer-friendly product experiences.
• Partner with AI researchers and engineers to connect technical innovation with developer needs.
• Work with C-level executives, industry leaders, partners, and the wider ecosystem to align product direction with business goals.
• Convert feedback into product requirements and a prioritized roadmap, leading pre- and post-launch execution.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of product management experience.
• Exceptional track record building 0-to-1 developer products in high-growth environments.
• Experience or strong interest in multimodal models, pipelines, tools, and realtime AI infrastructure.
• Strong product judgment, ownership of outcomes, and ability to operate in ambiguous problem spaces.
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate to the United States, with on-site work required a few days per week.

• Founder-level mindset and ability to identify gaps, propose solutions, and move work forward independently.
• Hands-on experience navigating codebases, mocking up features, running experiments, and collecting data with AI coding tools.
