What you will do
- Provide operational guidance to suppliers and support compliance with foreign trade processes.
- Implement regulatory changes and onboard new suppliers in line with company requirements.
- Maintain foreign trade records in Annex 24 and SAP for virtual imports and exports, nationalizations, returns, scrap transactions, and inventory control.
- Coordinate and validate customs documentation, including COVEs, pedimentos, invoices, packing lists, tariff classifications, valuation, and origin data.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support timely customs clearance and accurate data.
- Monitor execution, reconcile discrepancies, support audits, and drive process standardization, KPI monitoring, SOP development, automation, and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade and Customs, International Commerce, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience with Mexican customs broker agencies or IMMEX companies in a similar role.
- Experience using Annex 24 software, SAP, SQL, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
- Technical knowledge of foreign trade and customs regulations, including Mexican Customs Law, IMMEX, and general rules.
- Strong analytical skills for validating data, identifying discrepancies, and preventing errors.
- Advanced written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills, including presenting complex ideas.
