What you will do

• Manage import/export trade compliance activities across all sites in Mexico.
• Ensure adherence to Mexican customs regulations, including Ley Aduanera and the IMMEX program.
• Develop and execute strategies to reduce tariff exposure and drive duty recovery initiatives.
• Monitor geopolitical changes and advise leadership on regulatory risks.
• Implement digital workflows for classification, transaction screening, and documentation.
• Conduct internal audits, investigations, and remediation activities to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Significant experience with trade compliance in a company with Mexican operations.
• Deep operational knowledge of Mexican customs processes and USMCA.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, QAD) and trade compliance management systems.
• Strong analytical capability and experience explaining complex regulations to stakeholders.
