Technical Business Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States, except California. Occasional onsite interviews or in-person onboarding may be required. Travel: 5%.

What you will do

• Gather system requirements from customers and translate business needs into technical and functional requirements.
• Create business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flow diagrams, and system documentation.
• Support business process redesign and help customers evaluate system enhancements.
• Perform application, system, regression, and related testing as needed.
• Work with quality assurance and programming teams to ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.
• Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, technical teams, and industry research groups while supporting less experienced peers.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a related financial institution customer support role.
• Experience gathering and documenting user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Experience with at least one of Symitar, Core Director, SilverLake, or CIF 20/20.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to accommodate occasional business needs outside regular hours or on weekends.

Nice to have

• Strong project management skills and the ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
• Experience performing acceptance testing.
