Senior Business Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom. Hybrid working with a minimum of 60% of working time per month in the office; new team members initially work full-time in the office.

What you will do

• Develop business cases by identifying business and technical options and analysing costs, benefits, risks, and impacts.
• Lead detailed specification and modelling of holistic solutions across organisational, people, process, information, and technology dimensions.
• Gather, analyse, validate, and manage business requirements across discovery, design, build, testing, tender, and evaluation phases.
• Create user stories for front-end web and mobile app solutions and support gap, impact, risk, and user experience analysis.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops, presenting findings, recommendations, and actions.
• Identify improvements to systems and processes that increase efficiency and enhance customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in business analysis and advising on complex business problems and opportunities.
• Experience with Agile working, prioritisation, minimum viable product scope, and visualising outcomes.
• Ability to model processes, systems, and data across projects or programmes.
• Expertise in requirements definition and management, systems analysis, stakeholder relationship management, and business modelling.
• Knowledge of business analysis testing techniques and user experience analysis.
• Ability to mentor or directly manage junior staff.
