Product Owner, Data Migration (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States. Travel required up to 50%.

Salary: $76,500–$99,500 per year.

What you will do

• Collaborate with the product manager on the roadmap and strategy for migrating customers from legacy platforms.
• Execute cohort-based migrations and ensure continuity across operational, transactional, and financial data for day-one cutovers.
• Translate customer workflows, operational problems, and transition risks into prioritized product requirements.
• Represent customer and support needs while partnering with Engineering, Design, QA, Customer Success, and external delivery partners.
• Conduct customer observations and interviews to collect feedback, identify problems, and prioritize migration improvements.
• Write requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; manage the migration backlog.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of hands-on expertise with hirify.global applications and internal workflows.
• Experience solving operational and customer problems, potentially through implementation or support work.
• Ability to organize complex projects with strict deadlines and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions without formal authority and explain the software development cycle accurately.
• Strong interest in transitioning into a formal product role, including requirement refinement, user story writing, and backlog management.

Nice to have

• Experience or exposure in implementation, support, engineering, or product ownership.
• Familiarity with HL7 FHIR data models.
