Lead Product Owner (OpenText Communications)

Location: Remote within the United States. Occasional travel may be required for training or meetings.

Annual salary: $115,200–$158,400, depending on qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Own the OpenText migration strategy, product roadmap, prioritization, and alignment with enterprise and member-experience objectives.
• Serve as the primary product contact for an Agile delivery team by translating business needs into user stories and supporting delivery decisions.
• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of personalized, dynamic, operational, and regulatory communications.
• Establish governance for personalization rules, data, branding, content, version control, documentation, and audit trails.
• Partner with architecture, MarTech, strategy, and business stakeholders to develop scalable communication solutions and templates.
• Analyze defects and implementation issues, coordinate resolutions, support quality assurance, and improve platform accuracy and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience creating dynamic documents with OpenText Communications.
• Strong knowledge of document composition, including layouts, style sheets, variables, repeating data tables, and document flow.
• Understanding of logical coding concepts such as IF/THEN/ELSE statements, loops, driver-file mapping, and variable mapping.
• Product management and leadership experience, including cross-functional collaboration, prioritization, issue resolution, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to support compliance with healthcare, Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulatory communication requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
• Experience with Smart Communications or similar content-development platforms.
• Experience in healthcare or financial services and knowledge of CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, marketing operations, fulfillment processes, and Agile methodologies.
