Technical Product Owner (Medical Devices)

Location: Hybrid role requiring physical residence in Glenview, IL, or the nearby surrounding area

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 annual compensation, plus a discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Prioritize and manage the product backlog, translating the product roadmap into features.
• Lead refinement sessions and participate in daily Scrum ceremonies with implementation teams.
• Translate business, user, customer, and regulatory needs into detailed technical requirements.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, Azure DevOps/TFS work items, and delivery plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and facilitate requirements elicitation and scope discussions.
• Maintain requirements systems and contribute to procedures related to requirements management and systems engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, product development, or a related field, including 3+ years in project delivery.
• Experience with Agile development, Scrum ceremonies, and SAFe.
• Experience with medical devices or another regulated healthcare industry, including regulatory requirements and business processes.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps/TFS and experience authoring features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
• Working knowledge of Figma for reviewing UI desihirify.globals and strong familiarity with web-based and desktop applications.
• Degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent qualification, with the ability to communicate across departments and present complex information.

• Additional experience with medical device development and requirements methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Strong strategic and tactical thinking in product and engineering environments.
